Owpul possesses considerable girth for a flying creature, but balances it with a mostly hollow torso. The large surface area of its body coupled with its light-weight frame considerably aids its flying ability. The three seed-shaped markings on the creature’s chest are dormant eggs, which can drop off at any time. When this occurs Owpul will immediately land and nest, regardless of the surroundings. These seeds never grow back, so the creature can only produce a maximum of three young in its lifetime. Owpul can remain still for weeks at a time, which is particularly useful when nesting.
I tried to scroll past this.
I really tried. sorry.
The poor bird will never get anywhere ever
It’s a metaphor. We are the bird. It symbolises the fact that we are continuously growing older in life but seem to be staying in the same place. It accentuates the fear.. the fear of time running out.
^ That last post sounds like something my boyfriend would say <3
HE LOOKS LIKE HE JUST FELL OFF
LIKE HES NOT EVEN TRYING TO FLY
JUST
OOPS
I FELL
me
Excuse me. Let me draw your attention to something.
That pigeon did not fall.
IT WAS PUSHED.
What the hell kind of pigeon is this??
It’s a Pigmy Pouter. Knowing the name doesn’t make this any better.
It looks like a bird coming out of another bird
It’s like a bird centaur
but both halves are birds
wha…
This art is for the birds! A street artist by the name of Combo created an awesome open-air art exhibition specifically for pigeons. Not only are the pieces pigeon-sized and placed at the birds’ eye level, they’re each easily recognizable pieces of well-known art that have been altered to reflect a pigeon-centric world. The pigeon version of American Gothic is probably our favourite.

Oh, this is like, the best thing ever! I love art like this. Completely irreverent and not taking itself too seriously. Animals need art, too, if you ask me!
That’s pretty coo
